Welcome to our new website!

Shootah 2019 Vendor Information

Shootah is a 1-day event, Saturday July 20th, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  This year we are excited to work with more vendors than ever.  Please read all of the information below.

Non-Firing Line Vendors (no shooting at your booth)

  • Cost is $50 per vendor 10x10 area.
  • All vendors must arrive a minimum of 1 hour before the 9 AM start time for set-up and a safety brief.
  • Depending on vendor demand, a larger area may be available if you need it. Pleas contact us with a request if needed.
  • Vendors will provide their own tables, tents, and supplies.  If you need to bring a generator (and long cord) for power, please contact us at info@utahshooters.com and we will assign you to an area where that will work.
  • Be prepared for wind!  Bring heavy duty stakes or weights for your canopies, tables, and displays!
  • All vendors and employees attending Shootah must fill out a Shootah Waiver/Release form.

Firing Line Vendors

  • ***Limited number of these vendor spaces available!!!!!  These spaces are in high demand this year so please sign-up ASAP so you don't lose out on a firing line space.  Once they are full, if you haven't signed up and paid, you will be asked to use a non-firing line space.
  • Cost is $100 per vendor space.  A bump-up from last year because we are putting extra work and resources into the firing line areas to ensure maximum safety and user experience at all times.  While there were no accidents last year, firing line improvement was the #1 concern that was voiced to us by vendors and attendees.
  • All vendors must arrive a minimum of 1 hour before the 9 AM start time for set-up and a safety brief.
  • The maximum size allotted for each vendor space directly on the firing line is 10' wide per paid space.
  • Along with your firing line space, you may have a tent or canopy for sales or conversation with customers, and it will be behind your firing line space.  If you want to be shaded while talking/selling to customers, and also shaded while shooting, bring 2 canopies.  In order to ensure a safe event, there will no longer be the opportunity to do the chatting and shooting under a single 10x10 canopy.
  • We will be providing some weighted tent anchors but bring heavy-duty stakes in case the provided anchors don't work out for your set-up.  Wind is a concern every year, so plan accordingly.
  • There will be ZERO parking of vendors' vehicles on the firing line.  If you have wrapped promo vehicles, we will have a place to park and "display" them. We would love to see your promotional vehicles and can set them up in a way that will show them off nicely, but it will not be on the firing line.  There will be a vendor parking area that is closer than the attendee parking for your normal vehicles.
  • Firing line vendors MUST assign a staff member as your Safety Officer whose sole responsibility is to watch and help at the firing line any time people are shooting.  Utah Shooters Organization will be providing a head RSO to oversee safety, but we expect you to closely monitor your booth's safety at all times.
  • Vendors will provide their own tables, tents, and supplies.  If you need to bring a generator (and long cord) for power, please contact us at info@utahshooters.com and we will assign you to an area where that will work.
  • Please charge your normal amounts for ammo. (Please don't price gouge.) Bring the ammo (to sell) that you plan on running through your firearms.  If you are displaying your firearm builds, silencers, etc. you may choose to let people shoot your guns for free.  Last year some vendors ran out of ammo, so plan accordingly!
  • We will NOT be providing any .50 cal ammo to attendees this year so vendors are able to sell more. Take that into consideration when stocking up this year.  You'll likely sell more than last year.
  • All vendors and employees attending Shootah must fill out a Shootah Waiver/Release form.

TARGETS  -READ THIS!!

Action Target is providing targets for this event.  Your booth will be "assigned" some steel targets for the firearms that you will be shooting.  If you have high-caliber rifles, please advise us so we can get you proper targets.  Please DO NOT shoot lighter weight targets with big caliber rifles.  It will be YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to instruct and oversee the shooters at your booth on which targets to shoot at.  Action Target is very generous to let us use their targets.  If your assigned targets are damaged, you may be asked to pay for them.

    More info:

    • We ask that each vendor post about Shootah to their social media pages 3-5 times before the event (the more, the merrier).  This will obviously spread the word and more people will come to see your booth!
    • No public firearms will be allowed to be used at the event.  Vendor firearms only.
    • Vendor ammo only (no public ammo allowed to be brought)
    • The layout of the event will be similar to last year but we are assigning vendors their places before-hand and making a map of the layout for attendees.  A large shade tent area with tables for eating will be in the center of the event
    • Explosive targets and tracer ammunition will not be allowed due to the dry conditions of the FARM in July.
    • We are open to suggestions to make this event better!  Contact us at info@utahshooters.com

    Pre-registration packets:

This year, we will be sending out pre-registration packets to all attendees who register prior to July 1st.  If you would like to include business cards, coupons, punch-passes, promotional flyers, or other small swag that can fit in a bubble mailer, we will send those out for you.

    Pre-registration firearm giveaway sponsorship request:

We will be giving away a handgun (or rifle) to a randomly chosen pre-registered attendee to promote more early ticket sales.  If you would like to be the sponsor of a firearm we will promote your business as we are announcing the giveaway and make a special flyer about your sponsorship to send out with the pre-registration packets.  as soon as this sponsorship is filled, we will start announcing it and take down this request.  If you are interested in this sponsorship, please call or text Tyler at 801-921-9849

    Giveaway/ sweepstakes format:

This year will be different from years past.  We are doing a sweepstakes instead of a raffle.  We are not selling stand-alone raffle tickets.  We will be selling swag bundles from $20-$100, and EACH DOLLAR SPENT ON GEAR will get them one free entry into the giveaway pool.

We encourage all vendors to donate to the giveaway.  We will be announcing the products beforehand, and promoting your business in the announcements.  No FFL items will be given out to winners at the Shootah even.  You will coordinate with winners to go through the proper channels after Shootah to get their items.

We will be switching up our announcements of the giveaway winners this year as well.  In the past, we have done a large gathering that took an hour to announce all of the winners, and last year we announced items every 30 minutes which became a little messy.  This year, at 11:00 AM, the swag bundle sales will close, and we will begin to choose the random winners of the prizes without making any big announcements about it.  The winners will be written down on an large poster board, and all of the winners will be displayed by 11:30 AM.  This will hopefully minimize the need for people to leave your booths to "be there" for an announcement.  They can check the winners at their convenience.  30 minutes before the end of Shootah, we will check which winners have claimed their prizes and re-draw names for the unclaimed prizes.

Shortly after signing up, we will contact you to get some more details about your booth and some general business information. Utah Shooters reserves the right to deny any vendor from attending. Thank you for your support!
